The Resource Management Technician I is responsible for performing all tasks relative to specific position in a timely manner and meeting or exceeding supervisor’s communicated expectations. Responsible for receiving, pulling orders, preparing orders to ship, stocking inventory locations, and maintaining/staging of assigned inventory locations in a clean and orderly fashion. Provide exceptional customer service, dedication to patient care and ability to work well independently or as member of team. Under mentorship, applies LEAN/Six Sigma principles in daily duties. Understand basic supply chain, LEAN, Six Sigma and medical terminology. Follows all applicable policies, procedures, and manufacturers guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for receipt, distribution, and delivery of resources, supplies and equipment, including, but not limited to disposable medical supplies/equipment, linen and mail.
- Unloads, sorts and breaks-down inbound shipments; staging materials per standard operating procedures (SOP). Validating shipping quantity and quality at the item level, escalating issues, concerns or questions.
- Performs transportation or escort services for both internal and external customers, ensuring that the right product is delivered to the right place at the right time.
- Operates efficiently in electronic inventory management systems, receiving, counting and decrementing inventories in accordance with department SOP.
- Picks orders for hospital/clinic needs accurately in accordance with department SOP.
- Actively participates in recall management, monitors inventory for expirations or loss, escalating issues, concerns or questions.
- Participates in cycle counting and inventory analysis activities upon leadership assignment.
- Effectively, communicates with teams and clinical partners to ensure product is available at the right place, the right time, and in the right quantity.
- Applies and adheres to LEAN principles according to division performance improvement methodology
- Serves as a backup for other department roles as directed by departmental leadership.
- Actively, participates in root-cause problem solving investigations.
- Safely operate Resource Management vehicles.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of department responsibilities.
- Education High School or Equivalent
- Credential Powered Industrial Truck Heartsaver - Within 90 days, if not already obtained. Driver License Driving Record Required.
Required: Six months or more of Health Care Supply Chain/LEAN/Six Sigma, Military or Warehouse Inventory experience. Preferred: Six months or more of Health Care Supply Chain/LEAN/Six Sigma or Customer Service experience.
