Location: UConn John Dempsey Hospital, 100 Hospital Dr, Farmington, CT 06030
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: $50/hr- $40/hr
Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM (40 hours per week, 8-hour days)
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Anatomic Pathology Assistant for a 13-week contract at UConn John Dempsey Hospital. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Pathologist Assistant experience, with specific oncological grossing skills, general grossing, autopsy, and frozen section experience. Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment.

- Locals Accepted: (within 75 miles, at lower pay rate)
- Shift: 40 hours/week, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Scrubs: Any color
- Required Certifications: ASCP Certification as a Pathologists' Assistant
- Vaccinations: COVID and Flu vaccines required (medical and religious declinations allowed)
- Time Off: All time off must be requested at submission
- RTO: 3 days of RTO pre-approved
