You would support a busy Pathology office as office assistant and responsible for medical transcription of lab reports.
- What you will do:
- Customer service, fax and answer phone calls, as well as placing occasional orders and Kronos support.
- Transcription of Pathology Lab reports
- Support Pathology Team with additional office tasks as needed.
Full time, 40 hrs, Mon- Fri, Day shift - working on-site at the hospital.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in an Allied Health Field preferred.
- One year of working experience in a medical office or hospital, preferred.
- Three years of experience as a Medical Word Specialist/Transcriptionist in an acute-care setting, preferred.
- Evidence of ability to transcribe all work types,
- Demonstrated proficiency in a Windows computer environment, required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of dictation & transcription word-processing systems and equipment.
