What are the responsibilities and job description for the ES Floor Technician position at Bayley Senior Care Corp?
This role is full-time, Monday - Friday, and required to work every third weekend. Responsible for care of hard surfaced and carpeted floors throughout Senior Care Corporation. Works independently to cover assigned area, also works as a team to ensure the entire facility’s floors are kept at a high level of cleanliness. Other duties include trash removal, linen distribution and window cleaning. Interacts with other departments when necessary to coordinate tasks. Available as required on weekends and for overtime. Must be a team player and exercise the core values of the Sisters of Charity Mission Statement: Respect, Honestly and Excellence.
1.Maintains hard floor and carpeted floor surfaces in the optimal condition.
- Removes trash, cleans windows, distributes linen, assists with set-ups and moves, various cleaning duties as required/requested.
- Knows where to obtain information regarding chemicals, follows direction in use and care of chemicals and equipment.
- Keeps equipment neat and clean, notifies supervisor of needed maintenance, performs minor maintenance tasks on equipment.
5.Completes requests for supplies.
6.Communicates with supervisor regarding the scheduling of work.
- Functions appropriately to emergency situations in accordance with established policies and procedures..
- Adheres to all safety precautions and reports to supervisor or appropriate personnel, any conditions that appear to be unsafe, reports incidences and conditions needing maintenance.
9.Recognizes and adheres to policy and procedure regarding residents rights.
Requirements:Educational Attainment •High School diploma or GED equivalent required
