What We're Looking For
The Assistant Director of Recruitment Initiatives serves as a highly visible and integral member of the Campus Visits team, responsible for creating exceptional, customized visit experiences for prospective students, families, and key university guests. This role requires a warm, engaging, and proactive professional who excels in both front-facing hospitality and behind-the-scenes administrative coordination. The ideal candidate will be adept at making presentations, reading people and situations effectively, and fine-tuning the visit process to make each guest feel valued and welcomed. A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. Five years of relevant experience is preferred.
Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

This position requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed for special visit events.
A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile visitors, providing a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Present to prospective students, families, and guests, effectively communicating the university’s mission, values, and offerings.
- Read and respond to guests’ needs in real time, ensuring a concierge-level experience.
- Collaborate with deans, directors, senior administrators, and campus partners to provide tailored visit experiences.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with key university stakeholders to enhance the overall campus visit program.
- Develop, manage, and execute intricate visit schedules, ensuring exceptional coordination of multiple student appointments and experiences.
- Oversee the logistics of specialized campus visits, including itineraries, transportation, and hospitality needs.
- Work closely with campus partners to schedule meetings, facility tours, and one-on-one interactions with faculty and staff.
- Take initiative in refining visit processes, introducing creative enhancements to elevate the guest experience (e.g., personalized touches such as birthday recognition, welcome gifts, or tailored campus routes).
- Maintain accurate records of visits, guest interactions, and follow-up actions.
- Assist the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment in the execution of specialized visit programming.
- Work in tandem with recruitment and enrollment teams to ensure campus visits align with broader university enrollment goals.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions to continually improve the university’s recruitment initiatives.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance visit programming, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting positive impression.
- Provide support to various constituents as needed, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
