What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking an Associate/Senior Director of BRIGHTS Center within the Baylor Research in Growth and Human Thriving Science (BRIGHTS) Center.
A Master’s Degree and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required. A Doctor of Philosophy Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Proficient in Zoom, Google Suite of applications and programs, Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Oversee the daily operations of BRIGHTS. This includes coordinating staff, stewarding resources, and implementing policies
- Responsible for measuring, reporting, and evaluating progress towards BRIGHTS research goals and deliverables
- Work with other Baylor staff (business officers, OVPR staff) to manage BRIGHTS operational and grant budgets
- Establish operational excellence by analyzing and designing processes, flows, and procedures related to daily operations of BRIGHTS
- Communicate professionally and regularly with BRIGHTS staff and constituents across the university
- Develop and maintain a coherent marketing strategy
- Oversee BRIGHTS events
- Manage relationships and expected outcomes of vendors
- Provide editorial review and analysis of proposal drafts to produce a compelling and clear final product that is responsive to the solicitation and the funding agency
- Other activities and special projects as requested by the BRIGHTS Center Director
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support the mission of Baylor University
- Comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
