What We're Looking For
The Baylor University One Stop team is seeking a One Stop Representative to join the Enrollment Management team. In this role you will work with prospective and current students and their families to answer, counsel, and advise on all educational questions related to admissions, financial aid, and payment processes. This position is important to Baylor’s enrollment goals as assisting incoming and continuing students with their financial aid and billing questions will help retain students year over year as they progress towards graduation. By utilizing available resources and providing exemplary customer service via phone, email, and in-person visits, the One Stop Representative fills an important role within the division of Enrollment Management.
A bachelor's degree, less than one year of relevant experience are required. Up to three years of relevant experience is preferred.

- Experience in handling and communicating sensitive information
- Knowledge of financial aid counseling, verification, federal student loans, billing, admissions and/or registrar (Preferred)
- Knowledge of an enrollment management area focusing on outreach and/or retention (Preferred)
- Bilingual (Preferred)
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Multiple seats are open with an option for either in-person or fully remote work.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
The Enrollment One Stop Representative will work as a member of the Baylor One Stop team to advise and counsel prospective and current students and their families with questions related to the enrollment process, financial aid, and billing/student account issues. The One Stop Representative will ensure all Baylor students are served with excellence through:
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while answering phone calls for up to six hours per day
- Understanding and interpreting the needs of students while providing quality, personalized customer service for all enrollment services areas
- Maintaining a working knowledge of federal and institutional financial aid regulations and policies
- Representing and adhering to Baylor’s values and policies
- Being available to meet with students and their families
- Giving small group financial aid presentations
- Managing daily correspondence and inquiries pertaining to students
- Navigating confidential student information across multiple systems
- Documenting interactions with students
- Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a student/parent question and efficiently escalating inquiries and concerns as needed
- Troubleshooting common issues with technology and student account access
- Attending ongoing trainings on federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding financial aid and student accounts
- Performing all other duties as assigned to support the needs of the Enrollment Management Office and Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintaining regular and punctual attendance

The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.
The full salary range for this position classification is $14.35 - $23.67 per hour.
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
