Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care using evidence-based medication-assisted treatment and counseling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Counsel patients on addiction and substance abuse, including signs and symptoms of detoxification.
- Supervise and instruct patients on oral medication self-administration and health education.
- Document patient progress/regrss according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- At least 6 months of experience in addiction medicine and primary care.
- Current licensure in the state of Louisiana.
- Drug rehabilitation training/knowledge required.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
