Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a part-time OBOT Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient-centered treatment for addiction to prescription medications and other opioids.
About the Role
This is a part-time position working 9am-1pm on Tuesdays and every other Friday, with occasional travel to Oakdale on Tuesdays. You will be responsible for assessing patients, collecting data, and documenting progress. Additionally, you will counsel patients, supervise oral medication self-administration, and provide health education as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program (AANP)
- At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine and Primary Care
- Current licensure in the state of Louisiana
- Knowledge of drug rehabilitation training
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
