Requirements
The ideal Fitness Specialist candidate must possess:
- Bachelor of science in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum of one nationally recognized certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of personal training experience or approved internship preferred.
- CPR. First Aid, and AED certification
- Ability to regularly lift 5 lbs, frequently 50 lbs., and occasionally 100 lbs. is required to maneuver the majority of exercise equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate strength training machines, free weights exercises, flexibility techniques, and cardiovascular machines.
