What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Tech position at BayPort Credit Union Brand?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality service to Credit Union members and staff. This is accomplished by providing inspection and maintenance to all Credit Union facilities, as well as assistance to external vendors and other duties as requested.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SUPPORTING DUTIES:
- Conducts various levels of maintenance for Credit Union branches and facilities.
- This is accomplished by receiving requests from Credit Union staff in regard to facility maintenance; dispatching to the specific location; determining the need and priority of the maintenance; estimating the necessary support, equipment, and process for repair; and executing or overseeing the final maintenance.
- Ensures the safety of all Credit Union facilities.
- This is accomplished by inspecting, monitoring, and scheduling all Credit Union facilities and high-level maintenance; including but not limited to, heating and air conditioning, roofing, plumbing, and electrical repair.
- Serves as a liaison between the Credit Union and external vendors.
- This is accomplished by working extensively with external vendors to complete high level maintenance tasks and repairs to Credit Union facilities.
- Ensures the maintenance and safety of Credit Union Facility Maintenance vans.
- This is accomplished by monitoring and scheduling Facility Maintenance vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, tire balancing, tire rotation, filter changes and so forth; and obtaining yearly inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required Education: Education up to the equivalent of a four-year high school education.
Required Experience: Previous maintenance and/or repair experience.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of general credit union operational procedures to include scheduling, locations, and functions. Knowledge of the credit union’s service and support locations including major driving routes between and ancillary routes around BayPort’s facilities.
Other Requirements: Must sustain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
