BASIC FUNCTION

The Jr. Financial Analyst - Olefins will play a crucial role in supporting the Olefins supply chain operation through dedicated back-office accounting and analytical efforts. This position focuses on administrative tasks that enhance the efficiency of the Olefins management team, enabling them to concentrate on market analysis and strategic decision-making regarding the procurement of base raw materials and energy sources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data management, responsible for organizing and maintaining data to ensure accuracy and accessibility for decision-making processes.
- Accounting for transactions in SAP, Overseeing the accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Administration of Olefins P2P process documents.
- Validation of Support Documents
- Contract analysis and administration – manage document library, confirms/contracts, etc.
- Verify the movement of materials through pipelines and caverns to ensure proper inventory management.
- Assist with Olefins reporting and analytics for month-end close.
- Execute regular data uploads to maintain up-to-date information
- Proactive Backoffice Communications with partners – POs, payment info
- Assist accounts payable, customer service, and Treasury with data needs
- Serve as daily liaison between the Finance Department and the Olefins Operation-
- Assist with the preparation of year-end outlook, budget, and long-term plan
- Conduct special analyses and develop presentation materials to support the Olefins strategy and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics or equivalent

PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
This position requires:
