BASIC FUNCTION
The Jr. Business Analyst - Olefins will provide dedicated back-office accounting and analytical support to the Olefins supply chain operation. This position performs tasks that are centered around the administrative needs of the Olefins operation allowing its management team to be focused on market analysis and decision-making for procuring base raw materials and energy sources. This position performs tasks that are embedded in data management, validations of support documents, confirmation of movements, analytics and variance explanations, consistently providing proactive communications across functional areas and outside business partners, and assisting with Budget/LTP preparations.

BASIC FUNCTION

This position performs tasks that are embedded in data management, validations of support documents, confirmation of movements, analytics and variance explanations, consistently providing proactive communications across functional areas and outside business partners, and assisting with Budget/LTP preparations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with data management using Power Query/Power Automate/Power-BI applications (meter tickets, pricing, Aspen data)
- Accounting for transactions in SAP
- Administration of Olefins P2P process documents, 3 way match (GR, PO, IR)
- Invoice validation
- Contract analysis and administration – manage document library, confirms/contracts, etc
- Confirm the transfers and movements of raw materials and feedstocks via pipelines and caverns
- Assist with Olefins reporting and analytics for month end close.
- Routine upload of data into SAP
- Proactive Backoffice Communications with partners – POs, payment info
- Assist accounts payable, customer service, and Treasury with data needs
- Serve as daily liaison between the Finance Department and the Olefins Operation-
- Assist with the preparation of year-end outlook, budget, and long term plan
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and develop presentation material to support Olefins strategy

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics or equivalent

This position requires the incumbent to:
