Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for daily cash position, processing payments, and maintaining the cash forecast model to ensure accuracy. Additionally, this position will provide support for debt- related activities and assist with credit analysis functions. This position is responsible for updating and maintaining Treasury processes and procedures documentation. The Treasury Analyst will also provide ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis, and perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support all aspects of cash operations including administration of funds, bank account management, monitoring/initiating transactions and cash positioning

• Review and resolve cash management issues in a timely manner and in accordance with internal policies

• Generate the daily/weekly/monthly cash forecast report(s), and variance explanations, for management review

• Monitor bank service fees and reporting to management

• Process all requests for outgoing payments (i.e., wires, ACH’s, and checks)

• Create/modify payment templates for approval

• Setup/modify banks in SAP for review/approval

• Support customer credit evaluations to ensure proper credit limit exposure

• Support debt management functions, including the maintenance of amortization schedules, servicing company debt, and ensuring compliance with covenants

• Back-up cash receipts/cash application function, as necessary

• Provide support for audit requests

• Maintain records as required by company record retention policy

• Assist in the administration of company credit card program

• Prepare and monitor letters of credit

• Act as liaison to other departments on treasury and banking inquiries, including: business unites, banks, accounts payable and accounting staff

• Contribute to treasury projects related to bank account management and process improvement

• Design and implement new reports to enhance financial analysis and decision making

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SAP, Oracle Financials or other enterprise financial systems

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Flexible self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to efficiently coordinate and prioritize work while working under tight deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of treasury management, commercial banking, or investment banking experience

• Master’s degree in a related field

• Previous treasury experience

• CTP certification

• Prior work experience in petrochemical industry

• Experience with data visualization software

PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the incumbent to:

• Follow safety requirements for the role

• Wear required PPE (eye protection, noise protection, etc.) when inside plant environment, or where directed by signage
