Position Overview
The Marketing and Social Media Associate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies across all sectors of Bayshore Investment Group’s portfolio. This role will focus on curating and managing content across various social media platforms, ensuring that our marketing efforts effectively engage our audience and promote our brand. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging social media and digital marketing to elevate our businesses and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and implementing social media marketing strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Curate, schedule, and publish content that aligns with the Bayshore Investment Group’s brand voice and values.
- Monitor social media accounts and respond to community inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and engaging manner.
- Develop creative content such as graphics, videos, and blog posts to support marketing initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to optimize content strategy and drive growth.
- Assist in planning and promoting events, community outreach programs, and other initiatives hosted by the Bayshore District nonprofit.
- Work with the Operations & Marketing Director to coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials and content for websites, email campaigns, and print collateral.
- Stay up-to-date with current digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Bayshore Investment Group remains competitive and relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create engaging content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate fresh content ideas.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to track and report on campaign performance.
- Prior experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation is preferred.
- A passion for community-building, real estate, and hospitality industries.
