Job Description: As a Service Writer / Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with service inquiries, processing work orders, and ensuring a seamless service experience. You will work closely with both the service and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in person or via phone, addressing service-related inquiries and providing information about services.
- Create and manage service orders, ensuring that all relevant details are accurately documented.
- Communicate with customers to gather necessary information regarding service needs, equipment, and vehicle issues.
- Coordinate with technicians and service teams to schedule appointments and ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide customers with status updates on their service requests.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Process payments, warranties, and insurance claims as needed.
- Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions, and other related documents.
- Ensure that the service department is running efficiently, and assist in managing inventory and service scheduling.
- Handle follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
- Previous customer service or service writing experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- A positive, friendly attitude with a customer-first mentality.
- Ability to work well with a team and collaborate across departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
