What are the responsibilities and job description for the Key Account Sales Coordinator position at Baystate Wine and Spirits?
Baystate Wine & Spirits is seeking a Key Account Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. As we expand our regional and national key account presence, this role is critical in supporting both our Sales Director and Portfolio Manager to ensure consistent execution, pricing integrity, and strong customer service across our key accounts.
This individual will play a vital role in streamlining communication, managing data, supporting order execution, and assisting with reporting and presentations that drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and sales support to the National, Regional, and Key Account teams
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and Portfolio Manager to deliver timely, accurate responses to accounts
- Build and maintain data feeds; distribute pricing, inventory, and product details as needed
- Serve as a liaison for order entry, delivery coordination, credit/invoicing inquiries, and account updates
- Run reports and analyze sales trends, placements, and program compliance
- Assist in creating impactful sales presentations alongside Sales, Marketing, and Portfolio teams
- Support overall office operations and team needs as required
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Highly organized with a strategic, proactive and self-motivated mindset
- Strong math skills; able to calculate pricing, discounts, commissions, and volumes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration
- Previous experience in the wine & spirits industry or knowledge of the three-tier system is a plus
- Familiarity with Nielsen, Sip Source, and trade publications is preferred
