Seasonal Food & Beverage Manager
Position Overview:
Big Dam Waterpark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Seasonal Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations at our park during the summer season. This role is responsible for ensuring quality service, maintaining inventory, supervising staff, and optimizing sales while upholding health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in food service management, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality offerings.

Hire, train, and supervise seasonal food and beverage staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate stock and timely deliveries.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Implement and monitor cost control measures to manage expenses while maximizing profitability.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and team members.

Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting for all food and beverage transactions.

Address customer concerns and feedback in a professional and efficient manner to enhance guest satisfaction.

Work collaboratively with management to develop promotions, special events, and menu improvements.

Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and serving areas to ensure quality and consistency.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage management experience, preferably in a high-volume seasonal operation.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (ServSafe certification preferred).
