Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and presentation styles.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and bar operations.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus for establishments that serve craft beers or specialty drinks.
• Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Previous bartending experience in nightclub or food service environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
