Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring they enjoy their time at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in food service areas.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations gracefully.
- Experience using POS systems for order processing and cash management is a plus.
