Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization at the bar.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing beverage service in accordance with event specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the restaurant or retail industry.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience with cash handling, including familiarity with cash registers and retail math.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with local laws regarding alcohol service.
