The company services a variety of customers and end markets including Co-manufacturing confectionary and bar products, private label confectionary and bar products, branded confectionary products under the Bartons and Barricini Brands, Bazzini Branded Nuts, nuts and nut butters to the Foodservice channel.

Job Summary:

Bazzini, LLC is looking for an Assistant Controller to handle various bookkeeping and financial duties within our company. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role with previous knowledge of cash management, manufacturing reporting and analysis, fixed asset accounting, monthly closing procedures and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Since this is a senior position, you should have a diverse accounting background, be proficient in Excel, possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently.

Primary Duties:

· Borrowing base reporting.

· Daily cash management.

· Weekly cash flow analysis and 13 week rolling forecast.

· Monthly closings including journal entries and account analysis.

· Assistance with financial statement preparation.

· Audit support for year end, bank and insurance audits.

· Bank reconciliations.

· Weekly management reporting and analysis

· Maintains company Fixed asset accounting and Capital appropriations tracking.

· Work closely with the Finance team.

· Calculations for sales reps/ broker commissions

· Sales tax preparation.

· Special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA designation a plus).

· Minimum of 5 Years’ experience as an Assistant Controller or Senior Staff Accountant.

· Asset based lending knowledge a plus.

· Previous food manufacturing experience a plus.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus

· Strong knowledge of GAAP

· Full time on site
