What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Cycle Counter/Data Entry Clerk position at Bazzini?
Bazzini LLC is a medium sized confectionery and nut processing manufacturer with main offices and production located in the Lehigh Valley area of Eastern Pennsylvania. We are a dynamic, progressive family operated company producing brands such as Bazzini, House of Bazzini, Bartons, Barricini, Chateau, as well as manufacturing private label products for the US and Canadian market. Bazzini has been in business since 1886.
· Perform accurate daily cycle counts of the company’s stock inventory in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Assist with regular analysis of inventory and stock tracking issues, investigate problem areas for corrective action, including follow-up reporting, data management and effective communications.
· Inventory tracking and physical identification of items, e.g. ingredients, packaging supplies, finished goods, etc. is to be performed within both dry and refrigerated warehouse environments.
· Maintain accurate, organized documentation and reports.
· Proactively identify and communicate all discrepancies to Inventory Control Manager and designated personnel.
· Must be physically able and willing to operate such equipment as a forklift, pallet jack, and/or cherry picker.
· This is a physically active job requiring considerable time moving about on-foot over sizeable warehouse and production-floor areas in order to accurately assess/track/count a multitude of items with their various attributes and levels.
· This person must be flexible and be willing to work overtime as may be required of the job and/or circumstances, e.g. physical inventory, special projects or events, etc.
· Must be a dependable self-starter who works with a sense of urgency and commitment, completes tasks safely, efficiently, accurately and timely.
· Must be reasonably acquainted with computer data-management and processing activities, and actively support the accurate keying/data-entry of all types of inventory transactions while fully addressing any attendant clerical details and requirements. Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
· Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalency (associates degree a plus) and at least two years’ active experience in a fast-paced production environment. An aptitude for detail and basic math skills must be demonstrable.
· This position will interact with all levels of company personnel. The ability to work well and communicate effectively with others is essential.
