Knowledge/Data Manager
BB&E is a full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Knowledge/Data Manager to join our team, managing daily operations for the Air Force Civil Engineer Offutt Execution Branch (AFCEC/CFDO) Program Management Office (PMO) at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB) near Bellevue, NE. The role will handle a variety of tasks to include electronic files management, scheduling, facilitate meetings, and conference room management for AFCEC/CFDO leadership, as well as ensure proper recordkeeping practices.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist AFCEC/CFDO leadership with the management of day-to-day operations in support of the large Military Construction (MILCON) program that’s associated with the Offutt Air Force Base flood recovery program.
- Oversee calendars, manage electronic files, facilitate meetings, and conference room logistics on behalf of AFCEC/CFDO leadership
- Draft, finalize, and distribute meeting minutes
- Implement and maintain proper records management practices, including SharePoint oversight
- Support AFCEC/CFDO leadership with operational and administrative tasks across the scope of the BB&E Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) contract
Key Qualifications
- Prior experience with Strategic Command (STRATCOM) and Offutt Air Force Base is highly desirable
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required

Knowledge and Competencies
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing operational tasks such as scheduling and meeting coordination
- Familiarity with records management principles is highly desirable
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Software: Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and SharePoint expertise to maintain compliance with records management principles
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
Experience & Education
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of directly applicable work experience is required
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, or any Bachelor’s degree and three additional years of experience is required. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college or university
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone
