We are looking for a talented, self-motivated and self-starter Systems Analyst to be a member of Fintech team. Infomediary Data Solutions department is responsible for building innovative products for financial institutions.
The position requires a skilled individual who can contribute to all phases of software development project lifecycle from the requirement analysis (translate business requirements to technical specifications for development) through testing and deployment of applications. The role will require cooperation with both Product Owners/Business Analysts and our internal Development Team to provide meaningful technological solutions to our client base. Most projects are worked in Agile and SA is part of the Agile team.
The individual also identifies technology alternatives and recommends system solutions to business and technical audiences. The Systems Business Analyst participates in all phases of the systems development lifecycle – from project scoping, planning and requirements definition to issues resolution, testing (manually testing newly developed functionalities, reporting defects and assisting in defect analysis and root cause), training, and implementation.
The ability to collaborate, lead, and keep all project members focused, on track and informed is essential.
The Business Systems Analyst should possess following skills set:
Key responsibilities:
- Determines systems specifications (e.g., mock-ups, data modelling, technical requirements and systems design) based on business requirements, working with business end users to elicit proper solution design
- Works to integrate/implement systems solutions working with development, quality, and release teams
- Produces systems delivery specifications, technical systems design, user procedure documents, training documents, and rollout procedures as applicable
- Performs manual tests to ensure the quality of the solution as a part of the delivery process
- Works to self-manage projects to budget/estimate, hit deadlines set forth by project leads/managers, ensure adherence to defined release scope
- Provides systems analysis support for production issues when needed
- Leads group of other analysts in support of team’s goals
- Cooperates with the development team, architects, project managers and quality engineers
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Facilitation and presentation skills to demo and present solutions skills, conduct user training
Requirements:
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Financials or Technology
- Min 3-4 years of experience in IT Business Analysis or related field
- Skill to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in creating workflow diagrams (ex: wire frames, UML, Visio)
- Very good knowledge and practice of Agile, SDLC and waterfall methodologies
- User of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with SQL
- Ability to communicate technical issues in a clear way
Nice to have:
- Scrum Master experience
Financial background and financial services knowledge - Continuous integration experience – Jenkins/Hudson
- Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and security
- Experience with testing Web Services (REST, Soap)
- Experience with development tracking and collaboration tools
- Exposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management software
