What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at BBPI Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or disturbances
- Conduct security checks of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the premises
- Enforce access control procedures and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of criminal activities or emergencies
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
Skills:
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to provide basic medical assistance if needed
- Experience in surveillance techniques to identify suspicious behavior or activities
- Possess a valid security certificate or license, as required by state regulations
- Familiarity with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques is preferred
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively, including conflict management skills
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols
