Paul Brothers Inc. is a small civil construction company specializing in parks, playgrounds, sports fields, landscaping, and earthwork projects. We’re looking for a reliable Runner/Small Equipment Mechanic/Shop Hand to support our crews in the field and keep our shop running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Haul equipment (up to 13,000 lbs) and/or materials using a dump trailer or flatbed trailer with a 1-ton truck
- Deliver parts and materials to job sites
- Perform shop maintenance, including:
- Fixing small equipment
- Changing hydraulic hoses, oil, and fluids
- Organizing tools and unloading job boxes
- Take company vehicles to dealerships for service
- Occasionally operate equipment for demolition, loading trailers, dumpsters, and shop yard cleanup
- Make dump runs and maintain a clean and organized shop yard
- Track and update equipment inventory (service records, hours, etc.)
- Monitor vehicle and equipment licensing/tags, notifying the front office of renewals
Must-Haves Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Employment history verification
Ability to pass a drug test
Preferred Qualifications CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
➕ Prior work experience in construction, equipment maintenance, or similar fields
