The Claims Advocate role is crucial in confirming our workers' compensation claims resolve efficiently. This position demands strong business acumen, exceptional customer service skills, and extensive experience in handling workers' compensation claims.
As a Claims Advocate, you will be responsible for the oversight of each client’s respective claims. This includes tasks such as overseeing new loss intake, oversight of adjusters handling claims to ensure a smooth start to each claim, guiding injured workers through the claims process, validating that quality care is received by the injured party. Additionally, liaising with both internal and external parties confirming they have been provided accurate expectations for resolution of each claim.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Focus on efficient claim handling by the adjuster to reduce BBSI's financial risk linked to workers' compensation claims.
- Articulate claim strategies and finances to BBSI's clients and internal teams.
- Act as a valuable resource, addressing inquiries from internal and external customers, vendor partners, and injured workers.
- Provide support as needed for BBSI Claim Consultants and the Claims Oversight Team.
Salary and Other Compensation :
The starting hourly rate for this position is between $80-95K per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for annual incentive pay equal to 8% of annual regular pay, prorated in the first year, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.
