About the Role :
- As the Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial operations while supporting human resources initiatives. You’ll play an essential role in maintaining the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance, and fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace culture.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Accounting / Bookkeeping Duties :
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow, AR, AP, G / L, and collections.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee compensation records.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with tax filings, including year-end tax preparations.
- Establish and manage credit standards for customers and distributors.
- Implement and manage Bill of Materials strategies for cost tracking.
- Develop and monitor budgets for various departments, trade shows, and projects.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
