Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operational processes while providing exceptional customer service. This position involves engaging with clients through outbound calls, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining accurate data entry. Position Overview / Description
- Recommends, sells and promotes our products, services and equipment when interacting with prospective, new and existing customers by listening to their needs and concerns. This is accomplished either in-person, telephonically or electronically.
- Promote and positively represent the company within the community.
- Assists customers with billing inquiries, new service requests, disconnects and special deposits.
- Investigates complaints and problems promptly.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner and recognize that one of the most important performance areas in which the company functions is that of customer relations – to ensure continued growth and success of the company, the best possible courteous and friendly relationship with the customer must be maintained.
- Educates our customers on new products and services and become knowledgeable in all company products and services.
- Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting and analyzing customer needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates most all activities involving Customer Care and Plant Operations.
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Issues and maintains customer service orders and trouble tickets in Billing System.
- Assigns and dispatches customer service order and trouble tickets as appropriate to Wireline, Wireless, Fiber and Fixed Network and determines dispatch priority of technical personnel and schedule accordingly.
- Schedules repair and installation appointments.
- Monitors service quality and ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Updates Duty Supervisors with the current technician deployment and pending work.
- Coordinates and allocates plant assignments and updating appropriate records database.
- Regular and consistent attendance at the work site is an essential part of this job.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, products and services.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Skilled in analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Ability to complete work accurately under time constraints and deadlines.
- Ability to function effectively as a team player
Education and Experience
- High School Degree or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred..
- At least three (3) years of work experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
