Description
Highly skilled Senior Manager specializing in Corporate Investment banking. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the financial industry and preferably in wholesale banking, and knowledge in technology. You will coordinate and guarantee the implementation of the engineering strategy in CIB, and manage the resources necessary for its deployment, assuring the activity is carried out in accordance with appropriate procedures and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance and transformation: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across corporate investment banking including automatization of processes and reports.
- Strategy: Establishing clear KPIs and objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Coordinate, prioritize and ensure both projects and staffing align with the global strategy of the area.
- Finance: Develop operating budgets, monitor variances against budget, and provide financial forecasts to management. Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, regulators communications.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8 years’ experience in similar role and leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge: In corporate banking operations and technological platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and corporate clients.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Language: English Speaker, desirable Spanish as a second language.
Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with strong organizational and communication skills tailored to a corporate banking environment.
- Sharp Eye for Detail. Must ensure all financial reports meet strict accuracy standards.
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and create deliverable documents in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Sheets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement or organizational/job design and design future state processes gaining input and buy-in from multiple stakeholders.

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $125,000 to $145,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
