About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Private Credit and Valuations to strengthen our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing our private valuation processes across a diverse range of instruments, including private equity, structured products, and other alternative investment assets. You will conduct independent valuations and perform hands-on calculations for private credit investments while analyzing market data to ensure the precision of our valuation models.
Your responsibilities will also include preparing comprehensive documentation outlining valuation methods, collaborating with external parties to attain reliable pricing, and presenting valuation reports to various committees. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 7-10 years of experience in preparing or auditing private security valuations, and a minimum of 5 years dedicated to valuing private credit. Candidates with CPA or CFA certifications will be given preference.
This position requires strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, along with a profound understanding of private credit markets, including structured debt, bank loans, and other illiquid investment types. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and familiarity with Bloomberg or other market data tools is highly advantageous.
The selected Vice President will be expected to deliver work with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail while fostering collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.
