Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer proficient in PC-DMIS CAD DCC software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programing, operating, and maintaining GLOBAL I 15.22.10 and GLOBAL I 15.30.10 coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with Tool changer and DP Functionality. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to develop and implement software solutions that enhance our manufacturing capabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AS9100.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications that support manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Implement quality assurance protocols and perform quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Utilize CAD software for designing and modifying components as necessary.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise measurements and tolerances are adhered to in all programming tasks.
- Fabricate prototypes or components as needed to support project development.
- Document all programming processes, changes, and updates for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS CAD DCC software.
- Hands-on experience with GLOBAL I 15.22.10 and GLOBAL I 15.30.10 CMM machines.
- Experience with CAD software is preferred for design-related tasks.
- Knowledge of AS9100 standards is a plus, ensuring compliance within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is required.
- Understanding of GD&T principles is beneficial for precise engineering applications.
- Familiarity with Tool Changer and DP systems.
