Job Title: Site Coordinator
Reports to: CBO Supervisor
Position Summary: The Site Coordinator collaborates with the CBO Supervisor, the partner school, and 21st CCLC partners to create supportive environments that help students overcome challenges to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at the site, ensuring that programming is linked to the goals and objectives of the grant, working closely with the school administration to collaborate on program planning including but not limited to student recruitment, engagement, and retention, data collection, and participating in 21st CCLC meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure program meets enrollment requirements including student recruitment, engagement, and retention for afterschool programming
- Conduct community outreach to promote the program activities and benefits (e.g., families, local CBOs, community leaders, etc.)
- Ensure programming is linked to the goals and objectives of the grant
- Together with the CBO Supervisor, schedule and participate in quarterly collaborative planning meetings with program stakeholders
- Help with the collection of necessary information in preparation for NYSED reports
- Implement required activities and manage day-to-day operations of the program at the partner school
- Attend 21st CCLC meetings, workshops, and related program events
- Evaluate staff and meet regularly to discuss and problem-solve challenges
- Enter program data and track student progress in program database system (e.g., EZReports)
- Oversee the maintenance of supplies and materials at the site
Work Schedule (program schedule is based on NYC DOE school year calendar)
- Part-time, 25 hours per week (August 1st-June 30th)
- Monday – Friday (12pm-6pm)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years experience managing youth development program within NYC DOE public schools
- Strong leadership and communication skills,
- Passionate about the arts, youth development, community service, and social justice
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
