What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Specialist position at BCE?
This position assists in the operation of the BCE laundry shop supervising skilled and semi-skilled PIOC workers, provides workers training, and directs the processing and production of BCE products. The Correctional Enterprises Specialist - Senior will also manage inventories; manage production costs; oversee shop health and safety. This position utilizes the NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) computer system or current MRP system as an aid to production, inventory, and maintaining records.
This position is not eligible for remote work.
Shift: Monday- Friday (Monday 6:30PM-6:30AM, Tuesday-Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM)
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience:
- Leading and/or overseeing the work of others (e.g. training, coaching, mentoring, assigning duties, reviewing work, etc.)
- Providing customer service in high volume commercial output (such as: commercial laundry, quality control testing, rental services, manufacturing, etc.)
- Using software from the Microsoft Office Suite (such as: Outlook, Word, Access, Excel)
