Job Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring positive customer experiences within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and rescheduling
  • Process orders and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize databases to retrieve patient information
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry
  • Transcribe medical information accurately
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team
  • Maintain organized and detailed customer records

Experience

  • Proficiency in basic math skills for order entry purposes
  • Ability to type efficiently and accurately
  • Familiarity with Excel for data entry and tracking purposes
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
  • Experience transcribing medical information is a plus
  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with databases for retrieving and updating patient information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
