Program Manager III
Summary:
• Trade compliance program manager with at least five years of experience in managing complex projects (including investigations), supporting program initiatives, drafting summaries of trade developments, and driving results. Candidate must have strong organizational skills and preferably a background in trade issues or general compliance.;
Qualification:
5 years in managing complex projects, preferable related to trade or general compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop & execute strategy for trade compliance initiatives, projects, & processes
• Manage multiple interdependent projects of high complexity and broad scope
• Create and manage very detailed trackers, ensuring all related information and input is documented and accounted for
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate trade compliance programs, operations, and initiatives
• Monitor geopolitical developments, public policy & regulatory changes, and industry trends, particularly related to sanctions and export/import compliance, and assess the potential impact
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Strong knowledge of and familiarity with Google Docs (sheets, docs, slides, etc)
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience in international trade, particularly sanctions and/or export controls preferred
• PMI or PMP certification is an added bonus
