Employment Attorney

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of expertise in employment law and a proven ability to manage and expand client relationships.Duties : Represent clients in employment law litigation, including labor disputes and compliance issues.Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other documents related to employment law cases.Conduct depositions, discovery, and case management throughout the litigation process.Provide consulting advice to employers on employment law matters, compliance strategies, and best practices.Cultivate and manage client relationships while seeking new business development opportunities.Contribute to the growth of the firm's reputation in employment law and related fields.Requirements : A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on labor and employment litigation.Strong expertise in all phases of litigation, including document preparation, taking depositions, and arguing motions.Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues while managing client expectations and relationships.Proven record of professional achievement and a competitive mindset.Portable book of business is highly desirable.Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications : Active membership in the Michigan Bar and / or Ohio Bar, in good standing.Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and client relationships effectively.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to legal practice.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving legal landscape.#J-18808-Ljbffr
