Employment Attorney Position
Bloomfield Hills, MI or Detroit, MI office location.
We are seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join our team at Plunkett Cooney, one of the largest and most accomplished law firms in the Midwest.
The ideal candidate will be a versatile attorney with a client-centric philosophy and the ability to compete and prosper in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employment law matters, including labor and employment litigation.
- Provide consulting advice on employment-law compliance and best practices to employers.
- Pursue all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and arguing motions.
- Develop and grow client relationships.
- Analyze and interpret laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A portable book of business is a plus. The selected candidate must have a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing as an active member of the Michigan Bar.
