Duties:
- Manage and litigate insurance defense cases across multiple areas, including General Liability, Bodily Injury, Nursing Home/ALF, First Party Property, and Construction Defect.
- Develop and implement early resolution strategies to expedite case closure and improve client outcomes.
- Provide regular case updates to clients and maintain responsive communication.
- Lead and assist with trial preparation, including filing motions, drafting legal documents, and case management.
- Participate in collaborative strategy sessions with team members to develop innovative approaches to client issues.
- Engage in professional development through weekly training, mentoring, and roundtable sessions.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including networking and marketing support, to enhance professional visibility.
- Utilize case management systems and other technology tools to streamline case handling and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense matters.
- Expertise in handling cases in areas such as General Liability, Bodily Injury, First Party Property, and related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to explore and apply early resolution strategies and alternatives to traditional litigation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Responsive and professional communication with clients, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
- A commitment to accurate and ethical timekeeping and billing practices.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage caseloads efficiently.
- Familiarity with case management systems and legal technology.
- Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law systems is a plus.
- Florida Bar membership in good standing.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
