The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with a strong background in managed care or health care. This role requires significant case management and client counseling experience, and the ability to handle multiple cases and regulatory matters. The attorney will serve as a key point person on litigation, coordinate with associates and staff, and act as the primary client contact.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload involving managed care and health care litigation.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic counsel and updates.Coordinate with other associates and staff to ensure effective case management and compliance with regulatory requirements.Handle complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.Provide comprehensive client counseling and regulatory guidance.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues related to managed care and health care.Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and arbitration hearings.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Stay informed about developments in managed care and health care laws and regulations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing of the California State Bar.2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.Managed care or health care experience is required.Experience handling multiple cases and/or managing regulatory or compliance matters.Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred.Skills:Excellent academic credentials.Strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle complex litigation and arbitration matters effectively.Proven track record of managing regulatory and compliance issues.Exceptional client service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.Benefits Offered:401k PlanMedicalHealth Savings AccountVirtual HealthDentalVisionAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountsLyra Health EAPPaid Family LeaveCollege Savings PlanTransportation BenefitBack-Up Child CareCollege CoachPet InsurancePaid Sick TimeVacation TimeExcess Liability Insurance Commitment, value, excellence, and professional development draw associates to this AmLaw100 firm.
