Duties :
- Defend single-plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and reasonable accommodation cases.
- Handle PAGA claims and class actions.
- Manage cases independently from start to finish, demonstrating expertise in legal proceedings.
- Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests.
- Prepare and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
- Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses.
- Provide counsel on federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Contribute to employment counseling for clients, addressing a variety of labor and employment issues.
