This position provides an exciting opportunity to influence the development and efficiency of the firm’s M&A practice.DutiesTransaction Database ManagementInput deal terms from finalized transactions into a centralized Transaction Database.Collaborate with the knowledge management team to ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of the database.Form and Precedent Drafting / ManagementPrepare and revise drafts of M&A transaction templates and legal documents.Curate, organize and maintain the M&A group's templates, forms, and other relevant resources.Legal UpdatesMonitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments within the M&A field.Draft summaries and alerts to communicate important changes and ensure firm resources reflect new legal requirements.Legal EducationWork with the legal education team to develop content for associate training and firmwide M&A education initiatives.Marketing / Business DevelopmentCollaborate with the marketing team to strategize on M&A promotional efforts, including blog content and pitch materials.Assist in creating materials for client presentations, pitch decks, and other business development resources.Assisting with Attorney RequestsField day-to-day requests from attorneys for legal precedents, templates, and resources.Support for New InitiativesParticipate in knowledge management, resource innovation, and other strategic projects as needed.Other DutiesAssist with other tasks as assigned to support the M&A practice group.RequirementsAt least 7 years of experience in M&A corporate / transactional law, with a focus on both public and private transactions.Experience in corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and understanding of market trends in the M&A space.Strong drafting and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and focus on quality control.Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, especially with senior resource attorneys and other practice group members.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new initiatives within a dynamic legal environment.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsAdmission to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.SkillsStrong knowledge of M&A transactions, both public and private, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.High attention to detail, particularly in drafting legal documents and testing document generation processes.Ability to monitor and synthesize legal and regulatory changes and integrate those developments into practice.Experience with knowledge management systems and maintaining databases for large-scale transactions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and support internal and external stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
