The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property (IP) and commercial transactions for technology companies. This role involves structuring, drafting, and negotiating various IP and commercial agreements , as well as advising on IP aspects of multidisciplinary transactions such as mergers , acquisitions , and public offerings . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with technology companies at all stages of their growth.Location : Duties : Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of intellectual property and commercial transactions including : Licensing agreementsService agreementsDevelopment agreementsDistribution agreementsPartnering agreementsWork on IP aspects of mergers , acquisitions , public offerings , and financingsAdvise technology companies of all stages of growth on IP and commercial transactionsProvide guidance to clients on multidisciplinary transactionsCollaborate with a national team and train junior associatesHelp build and grow a dynamic national Technology Transactions practice groupRequirements : 7 years of experience in intellectual property and commercial transactionsDemonstrated interest in technology companies and IP transactionsAbility to train associates and work effectively as part of a national teamStrong communication, negotiation , and interpersonal skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a focus on building and growing a national practiceTechnical or science background preferred but not requiredExperience with IP and commercial transactions is essentialEducation : Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications : Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of employmentSkills : Strong experience with intellectual property transactions, particularly in technology companiesExcellent drafting , negotiation , and communication skillsAbility to manage complex transactions and collaborate with a national teamStrong interpersonal skills for working with clients and associatesInterest in long-term career development in IP and commercial transactionsCompany info#J-18808-Ljbffr
