Job Summary
The VP Financial Advisor and International Relationship Manager will manage and achieve business results through Sales strategy development to grow and maintain a profitable client relationship portfolio (AUM’s and ROA), target existing and future client base in Latin America, and will be a committee member PBSG (Former ARG Committee) as well as serve as a back-up for the VP Team Lead of International Wealth Management
This position requires cooperative work with Personal Banking, Commercial Banking and Bci Banca Preferencial Internacional Chile to meet with the Bci Plan Internacional goals.
The position is responsible for complying with banking laws and regulations to maintain regulatory excellence while building a support group in Peru for continuous partnership and will serve as liaison between the Bci Miami Office and Bci Peru for any Personal Banking client relationships.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION

In the performance of their duties, all Bci - Miami Branch staff members are required to comply with all state and federal regulatory and legal requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1979, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Bank Bribery Amendments Act. Additionally, all staff members must comply with in the Bci’s Personnel Manual and Code of Ethics and other policies of Bci which are either currently in place or which may become effective during the staff member’s employment.

PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers; Intermediate - expert fluency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Bloomberg Concepts and certification preferred and other banking applications.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
Series 7 & 66 (or 63/65)
Experience
At least 10 years of investment experience in International Wealth Management and knowledge in Investments and Bank Products as well as a demonstrated track record in relationship management and selling.

DUTIES OF THE POSITION

- Coordinate, prepare and manage, Marketing, Business and Sales Plan
- Meet goals in conjunction with Department and Team goals.
- Dual responsibility between the Bci Bank and Securities; NASD Registered with Series 7 and future 66 licenses as a Wealth Manager Advisor (WMA or FA) .
- Coordinate with our Branch and Regional offices in Chile, Peru, and Colombia
- Focus on expansion of existing customer relationships between our regional offices and the Miami Office
- Serve as a liaison and partner with the Relationship Managers (Bci Chile, Banca Preferencial, Private Bank, Premier Bank, GIC, BAM and Bci Securities)
- Provide innovative and wealth management financial advice to clients in conjunction with the Investment Team.
- FA with RM’s will identify key investment needs of our clients and their businesses while leveraging our banking products and bring new net assets.
- Build, promote and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities to meet the Team’s annual AUM’,s and revenue goals.
- Provide timely and appropriate responses to requests for information and/or customer complaints or concerns and provide appropriate follow-up to ensure issues are resolved (internal and external).
- Focus on the achievement of better results and continuous improvement and respond effectively to changing circumstances, ROA.
- Focus on quality of assets; enhance cost efficient practices, maintain sound bank regulatory practices current (BSA/Compliance policies) and current Risk Management policies and NASD Best Practices.
- Present proposals, review of existing portfolios while maintaining clients in line with their suitability/risk appetite. Evaluate the performance and asset allocation of existing portfolios.
- Manage client needs, service, trades, problem resolution, process issues and respond to client inquiries.
- Attend financial advisor meetings and continuing education sessions to stay current about products, services, and policies.
- Travel required 10-20 % of the time in Latin America.
- Follow procedures in the ARG Manual, Personal Banking Manual, and Investment (IWM) Manual.
- Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed)
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, at the office, and work the hours and/or shifts assigned, particularly during regular business hours, to communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and customers with whom interaction is required to accomplish and complete work assignments and meet company goals within established deadlines.
