What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restructuring and Insolvency Associate, Dallas position at BCLP?
Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking highly motivated, well-qualified mid-level to senior-level associates with four to seven years of experience to join our nationally recognized Restructuring and Insolvency practice in our Dallas office. If you are the ideal candidate, you will have experience in the following areas:
- Commercial creditor enforcement litigation, including state, federal and bankruptcy court pleadings, motions, objections, discovery, and court appearances.
- Real estate workouts and litigation, including foreclosure, deed-in-lieu transactions, and forbearances.
- General bankruptcy law and practice, including familiarity with law and procedure in commercial Chapter 11 cases.
- Finance aspects of a restructuring practice, including analysis of loan and perfection documents, out-of-court workouts, and debtor-in-possession financing.
- Distressed transactions, including sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, Article 9 sales, and assignments for the benefit of creditors, and advising on deal structures.
