Job SummaryAs the point of reference of both workers and Field Operations Lead, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. You will work with the Field Operations Lead to ensure that goals are accomplished and deadlines are met. This position requires physically demanding work in an outdoor construction setting and utilization of various equipment. ResponsibilitiesAssist in directing field employees and subcontractors on assigned projects, allocating general and daily responsibilities.Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met and followed by BCMG employees & subcontractors on site. Troubleshoot problems when they arise on the job site.Prepare pre-trip equipment before mobilizing to the job siteResponsible for quality of work and proper care of assigned equipment, including securing worksite and equipment at the end of each shift.Assist the Field Operations Lead with pre construction for projects. This role may also require you to operate construction equipment and train others on proper use, including excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, and skid steers to excavate or move dirt, rock, and other materials as needed. Prepare documents, daily reports, and / or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety including but not limited to Raken & Monday.comKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesFollow all of OSHA safety standards and guidelinesBasic first aid / CPR and Osha 10 desiredMust have a valid U.S. driver s licenseClass A or B CDL preferredMust be able to squat, stretch, bend and lift 70 lbs and maintain an acceptable pace; be physically fitMust have a sense of urgency, strong mindset, and ability to be held accountableAbility to safely operate and inspect power and hand tools that are requiredWill be required to pass employment verification, criminal background check and drug screeningHigh school diploma or equivalent
