This Assembly Operations Coordinator position requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assembly and packaging equipment, maintaining targeted production standards in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Maintain a clean work area, reporting any safety hazards to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Participate in safety programs and initiatives throughout the plant.
- Know and observe all quality and GMP standards.
- Work efficiently and cooperate with supervision and other associates.
- Set up, debug, adjust, and operate equipment within specified ranges.
- Perform changeovers on equipment, performing quality inspections according to operational specifications.
- Possess a solid understanding of current production reporting systems and their application to all positions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned, including semi-annual extended maintenance.
- Maintain and handle inventory as vital.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, including the BD Production System (BDPS).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 Year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
