Job Summary:
This role is an entry level role within our Client Experience practice to serve our clients on project discovery. This role offers strong analysis of our client’s business to support the requirements gathering, and functional design. This role supports all the BDO Digital clients in many different industries, and across all our technology practices through utilizing problem solving and analytical skills.
Job Duties:
- Supports requirements gathering and discovery workshops for custom IT solutions
- Conducts current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems
- Supports Technical Leads and Developers by providing functional clarification and setting expectations with team and client
- Documents requirements, writing user stories, creates field-level specifications, wireframes, test cases, user guides, and strategy roadmaps
- Documents, socializes, and triages issues, defects, and enhancement requests
- Tests case authoring and execution of solution is a plus
- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, required
- Bachelor’s degree related to Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Management, or Information Systems from an accredited university, preferred
Experience:
- Zero (0) - six (6) months or more of experience related to Business Analyst, Project Coordinator or Technical Analyst within an IT technology environment, required
- Prior internships within a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Technical Analyst role, preferred
- Experience in one of the following technologies, preferred
- Custom applications
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Salesforce
- Data Analytics
- Front-end technologies
- Visual Design
- Data Analytics dashboarding experience with Power BI, preferred
- Any wireframing experience, preferred
License/Certifications:
- N/A
Software:
- Microsoft Technologies (Word, Outlook, Excel), required
- JIRA, Visio, preferred
Language:
- N/A
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment
- Motivated, with a push forward to make it happen approach
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to travel to the client site, as needed

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $55,000 - $100,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $55,000 - $100,000
Washington Range: $55,000 - $100,000
