At Be Happy Pie Company, our mission is to create happiness one pie at a time. We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Bakery Manager to lead our operations, manage financial performance, and promote our brand to the Paducah community.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

· Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Follows established procedures to achieve brand consistency and quality standards

· Implement efficient workflows to optimize production and customer service.

· Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws

· Manage bakery staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Financial Reporting

· Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.

· Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports to senior management.

· Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining product quality.

Marketing and Branding

· Plan and manage promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and social media content.

· Collaborate with corporate team to ensure cohesive branding across digital and physical spaces.

· Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups to promote the bakery.

Customer Experience

· Foster a welcoming and positive environment for customers.

· Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

· Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in a bakery or restaurant.

· Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

· Experience in marketing, branding, or community engagement initiatives.

· Basic computer skills; preferred knowledge of QuickBooks.

· Able to stand, twist, squat, lift, and bend throughout the workday; lifting up to 50 pounds.
